It was a successful start to the 2021 season for Roman De Angelis and The Heart of Racing team. In the lead up to the Rolex 24 at Daytona the team competed in the Motul Pole Award 100 which determines the starting grid for next week. Each team selects two drivers for the 100-minute race at Daytona International Speedway. Roman and Ian James were the drivers selected for The Heart of Racing team.The two drivers were able to finish the race P7 in the GTD class, securing a strong starting position for next weeks Rolex 24. Roman and Ian will look to build on this start in next week's race with Darren Turner and Ross Gunn completing the driver lineup. The Rolex 24 starts this Saturday, January 30, at 3:40 p.m EST.
