De Angelis Part of Porsche Motorsport Junior Programme Shootout

November 27, 2019 Although both the US and Canada Porsche GT3 Cup seasons are over, Roman De Angelis wasn't out of a Porsche long. After the last race of the US championship Roman was nominated as a wild card entry for the Porsche Motorsport Junior Programme Shootout.  "To compete in the Porsche Junior Shootout is something that I never would have expected to have the opportunity to do in my life. It was a massive honor to be ranked along with the other 11 selected talented drivers to complete for such a coveted seat in motorsports." – De AngelisThe Porsche Junior program has been running since 1997. It's proven to take top talented drivers, provide them with support for a season, and help them accelerate their career in the motorsport industry. Eleven drivers were invited to the Shootout held this year at Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal.  All drivers showcase their talent and compete for the top prize of being named the next Porsche Junior and a chance to compete fulltime in the Porsche Supercup series in 2020. The results of the Shootout will be announced in coming weeks.
